This patient presented with large painful nodule (over 3cm) on right lower chin. Possible ingrown hair. Very tender and firm to touch. We performed an Incision and Drainage procedure to clear out pocket of purulent discharge, broke up loculations, then packed with Iodoform gauze.
Beard Abscess. A pus-filled pocket popped and drained. Ingrown hairs. I +D with packing. MrPopZit 2711
